LightGyro: A Batteryless Orientation Measuring Scheme Based on Light Reflection

In industrial production, the orientation of facility components can indicate whether is on a regular operating track. For example, when component get loose, variation would exceed normal range. A common approach for measurement to attach an inertial unit (IMU) target device. However, IMU requires additional power maintenance. This paper presents LightGyro, cheap and efficient batteryless scheme measure orientation, in which we reflective film device use camera capture light spot film.
